He joined a major think tank immediately graduating from The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law in 2000, and then transferred jobs to Accenture in 2012. During his career at Accenture, he has worked on numerous projects, mainly in institutional design, corporate and business strategies, organizational design, marketing and sales strategies, and new business planning. He co-authored “The Energy Industry in 2050: Game Change to Utility3.0,” published by Nikkei Publishing Inc. in 2017.

Isshu Kikuma is Japan Energy Analyst for BloombergNEF. He supports the BNEF service for Japan’s renewable energy and grid integration. He also has experience in the solar and sustainability fields before joining BNEF.
Isshu holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke, the U.S. and Bachelors in Economics and Geography from SUNY Geneseo, the U.S.

Dr. Andreas Hauer studied Physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. He made his PhD at the technical University in Berlin. Now is Head of the Division “Energy Storage ” at the Bavarian Center for Applied Energy Research, ZAE Bayern, with about 80 emploees. Dr. Hauer is an international known expert on energy storage in general and specialized on thermal energy storage. For 7 years he was the secretary of the Executive Committee of the Energy Storage Programme within the International Energy Agency IEA.
